Client Requirements:
The Dance Exhibition was meant to be staged in an engaging,
theatrical environment, representing the era of each of
the seven stations. The curator and head designer presented
the movement of the dances as well as the appropriate
music.
Mystus Expertise:
Mystus created the coordinated presentation systems for
each of the stages in order to have something always happening
at each, but allowing only one at a time to take centre
stage with the music. Designing this feature involved
developing a sophisticated microprocessor system to control
individual laserdisc players as well as automated audio
switching.
Unique Features:
Mystus computer technology gave this exhibit theatrical
flare and made it the highlight of the Toronto museum
scene.
