Description:
Most leaves are green right? Well actually they're not
really green. They do look green though. In fact they
are inherently no colour, they reflect colour. The pigments
in leaves don't care about green. What they want is red,
yellow and blue cause that they can turn into other forms
of energy that the plants can really use. The green is
the garbage that they reflect away, that we see. This
simple exhibit shows dramatically how pigments suck up
different wavelengths, or colours, of light.
