Description: A set of three exhibits based on the
IBM ViaVoice speaker independent voice recognition software.
Visitors can dictate into a microphone and have the text
of what they spoke appear on the screen. A second voice
recognition exhibit allows the visitor to control a mechanical
hockey player, moving left and right , and shooting. The
third exhibit deals with computer speech. Here the visitor
types in some text and has the computer speak it back.
