The current incarnation of this exhibit is based on the theory that all indo-european languages can be traced back to one proto-language. This exhibit allows the visitor to hear how words are pronounced in different languages at a given time and back in time. This exhibit brings these concepts to life by allowing the visitor to make quick audio comparisons. The programming and graphics of this exhibit can be adapted for a variety of linguistic and audio purposes.
